I completely agree with all your top albums! Well, except for Alkaline Trio, I sadly never got into them. =(

Yeah, still not sure why they're not massively popular yet =/

Nice list! Many the same as my list (which I have been slack and not published yet)! Though I thought you may have put Empires higher on the list. To coincide with my Twilight fetish I have 'I Want Blood' as my ringtone.
I like your music style :) And I agree with the Augustana thing. My fave Sunday morning song is 'Boston'.

Hurry and publish yours!

You know, I really enjoyed the Empires record when they first released it. But there was a surprising amount of good music released in 08, and they all sort of just edged out the Empires album... Maybe I would switch around Empires and Longwave, but I guess the new Longwave record edged it out because it's a bit newer and fresher on my mind.

I don't know why, but I haven't yet seen Augustana live... and they're from the San Diego area! I think the previous album as stronger singles than the new one, but Augustana has that same quality of musical stylings as bands like OneRepublic and The Fray, but without sounding trite. Does that make sense? So I figure, why isn't Augustanta huge at this point if bands like OneRepublic and The Fray are making it big? The music industry is a mystery. Bands without bassists have hit singles now days (I'm looking at you Metro Station), I don't understand.
