NO ON PROP 8

Hey guys - I'm sure many of you have seen the news on Buzznet and elsewhere about the rallies and protests going on in Los Angeles right now against the passage of Proposition 8 in California banning gay marriage. I haven't been able to get online all night and I'm posting this from my Blackberry right now, but I just want to ask that you all keep our friend Mark (Panasonicyouth) and the other Buzznetters who attended the protest and have been arrested for their participation. I don't have details, I'm sure there is more out there that I need to catch up on, but I hope Mark and everyone else is safe tonight.

Mark said - "We were told it was a felony so relieved it's being listed as misdemeanor." Argh I am so angry right now.
	angelicboyne: 11/07/2008 6:13 PM I hadn't heard anything about this in Ireland - Proposition 8 I mean -so rediculous. And whatever happened to the right to peaceful protest. I only hope the sacrifice people made in being arrested for their participation raises awareness and gets people thinking about changes that need to be made in relation to Proposition 8. Who has the right to tell you who it is 'right' to love??
