I am a slacker

I feel like I've been slacking off on my Buzznet updates.... which, okay yeah, I have. I'm sorry, I've been busy and I don't carry a camera around that often, it sucks! I finally got my hands on PATD's wireless network password, which is much more reliable than the PWTs internet set up. Dashboard Confessional keeps soundchecking that new Pink song and it gets stuck in my head against my will. I watch a lot of football (GO CHARGERS!). I hate wearing my radio/walkie talkie but my tour manager yells at me if I don't.

Last night my friend Mexi Joe, Cartel's guitar tech extraordinaire, picked De'mar and I up in Everett which is a suburb of Seattle. He drove us into the city where we met up with one of my best friends Greg at his favorite sushi restaurant. It was amazing, I wish I could eat sushi every day. I haven't seen Greg in probably a year so it was really good seeing him. He plays bass in a band called Amber Pacific, they've been home almost a year now writing new songs and auditioning new singers. It looks like they finally found the guy - he's from Calgary. Canadians are the best people, although I'm not too fond of French Canadians. Greg, AP's guitarist Will, and their old TM Brad are coming to our show tonight to hang out, as is Mexi Joe. I have some great friends in this city, it's nice to be back in Seattle.

Tonight we haul ass down to Salt Lake City, where it's apparently snowing already, good lord. I AM NOT READY FOR WINTER. Are you kidding me?? My good friend Lindsay lives in SLC though and our friends Sherwood have a show in town tomorrow night so I think some of us are going to hit that up.

Alright, I've just been told by Tim that tonight's dinner is amazing (the catering on this tour has been pretty spot-on) so I'm going to go check it out. Apparently the options are Mahi Mahi, NY strip steak, or chicken. YUM.

They actually DID play it last night instead of their Weezer cover, so if you come out to one of the east coast shows there's a chance you might hear it haha.

But Greg and Will are doing great, Will says he's been writing tons of really great songs. As for the new singer, they're 95% sure he's going to be the one so keep your fingers crossed that it becomes 100% :)
